Probably the most slept on game in the Sonic franchise, and I understand why. It's completely different from what you'd expect out of a Sonic game. Its not exactly about running fast and quick reflexes...but rather about the deeper lore of the Sonic Universe, and for that...I LOVE THIS GAME. I found the story super captivating as a kid, and I'd love to see some sort of sequel, at the very least, a remake/remaster in this time of all Sonics games getting remakes/remasters. The story was great, villains were phenomenal. Goes into more depth as to the nature of the chaos emeralds origins, connects multiple stories together, deepens the lore of the ancient echidnas, and introduces many new characters/mechanics/designs/etc. The art style was awesome, and while the literal in-game graphics were...okay at best, a remaster could make up for it tenfold. If you're in the mood for a cool Sonic story, and dont mind the idea of an RPG, you should def try this game. I'd rate it 6 stars if I could. This is what we need for Sonic games...REAL STORIES.
