If you want to understand the present reality of Palestine and the pscyhe and strategies of the Israeli government, and you want to read only one book, start here. The author is an Jewish American political scientist and dedicated his professional life to study and write about the Middle East. The book expands on the history and political currents in Israeli culture and politics in a fair but justifiably critical manner. I learned a lot from it. Kudos!

The modern history of the medical model of the human mind, aka psychoanalysis, written like a great book of history. Almost too delicious to read! Manages to cover the century long revolution in mind from 1850s to 1950s with in depth exposure on Charcot, Bleuler, Freud, Adler, Jung, Reich, Abraham, Klein, Horney, Anna F. and more. While you are at it, consider reading his second tome first: Soul Machine, which covers the preceding history and background of the human mind going back to 1600s and expounds the ideas and arguments of Descartes, Hobbes, Willis, Locke, Rousseau, Comte and more.

Confused and as such fearful minds confusing more minds. Save yourselves more confusion and fear. Do not read this book. But, I am biased. I only saw the "erased" video where the author was interviewed and spoke her confused mind. She seems authentic enough. She may be. But, after inquiring and researching into a few of her claims and fact-checking them, it seems clear that she is mixing up a few basic facts about the problems of big pharma and the ineffectiveness of governmental institutions (the fix is not to get rid of government or big pharma, but to help them evolve..) with gross falsehoods. The former is a natural problem (human nature is not perfect here on earth, yet!). But, the latter is much much worse. Trust one falsehood and you are in a nightmare and you don't know it.
