Spoilers… It’s cute at times and Morocco looks amazing. I didn’t really buy the romance. Holiday romances almost never translate to real life and I always feel like in films that people throw their whole relationships away- for lust. Holiday romances aren’t real life. This coming from an expat, who has moved to a different country (not for love). I have backpacked the world many times and when you’re on holiday you’re in a different mindset… it rarely happens like the films but anyways. I kind of love how she gets her book stolen when she’d been flirting with someone’s boyfriend the whole film (and is a part of why they broke up.) Then she didn’t have it backed up. 😂 Other thoughts are that Liam’s character was miserable and not seemingly excited for his girlfriend and this next chapter in her life. He seemed to have an issue with her success, but then falls for a much more successful older woman. I found that a bit odd… Anyways it’s a cute ending, easy watch.

Not sure why so many bad reviews. I’m not going to give a detailed synopsis. Just that I’m a huge Jurassic park and sci-fi fan and I really enjoyed this.

I don’t follow her on social media, although I think her content is great which is why I decided to watch this. Liv comes across super narcissistic at first and I found it a bit unbearable at times, but she gets better. Because of that aspect it took me time to get into but it makes sense when you finish the series (actually after you get through half of the series you start to see her vulnerability). Definitely enjoyed it and will check out the next season. Oh and I Loved the cast!

20 min into the film, I started wondering why these action scenes looked so real and it reminded me so much of the video game I play- COD. It makes so much sense now, these are active duty Navy Seals and some of the scenes they’re using live rounds for effect. 5 stars for a unique story.

The actors were phenomenal. Sandra bullock deserves an award! Definitely a sad story, not the most uplifting, but a very good story. 5 stars!

I cannot believe I almost missed this one! It’s such an underrated film. Highly recommend it. It’s a mash up of space, sci-fi, and spirituality. Not action packed, but it keeps you on your toes!

Spoiler alert. This could’ve been one of my fave zombie films but instead it’s one of the worst I have seen. I will never watch this again. Ends totally on a low. The cinematography is great, cast is great, sets are great, story starts out really great, but who decides to kill off the ENTIRE cast so unceremoniously, and leaves the most irritating person to live?! And the best part is, she’s the main reason why they all die. This could’ve been so much better.

As an Italian-American, at first I was really irritated by the 2 main characters chosen to play Italians, the forced accents and terrible Italian language attempts by the “Nonna” especially. Her accent is actually offensively terrible, but all in all it’s a cute popcorn film. Lots of Italian stereotypes but sad to say some Italian stereotypes are true amongst some of the Italian diaspora! Not to be taken too seriously. Just a fun film.
