Such a nice premise, but Seth Rogen and the second half of the movie, ruined it for me. In my opinion, they should have hired a different actor to play that role and toned down the ridiculous childish behavior of his. Theron’s character was beautiful, intelligent, well dressed and cultured. The idea that she would fall for someone who looks and acts like Rogen is beyond belief. When they took a Molly…. That was it for me. I fast forwarded to the end and once more, I was questioning why this movie was made. I’m going to bed angry, so I better go do my meditations to become one with the world again! Lol

This book taught me, at age 73, to read reviews before I buy a book. I’m actually angry at myself for reading 2/3 of that snooze fest before I deep sixed it. There is so much wrong with this story. After nearly getting murdered at the law firm in Memphis, Mitch and Abby put themselves and their twins right back in harm’s way! Didn’t these two learn anything? I didn’t care about any of the characters, even the dying Luca. John Grisham should be ashamed of writing this book, as many of us, me included, assumed it would be a great read. Well, you know what they say about assumed! 😩

This could possibly be the worst movie I’ve ever seen! First of all, I had trouble finding ANY redeeming qualities in Ezra. The fact that a beautiful intelligent woman would fall in love with him was too absurd to believe. The cast was terrific and it was painful to watch such talented actors reduced to speaking those predictable lines. You will never be able to get that hour and a half back.

This movie was slow, depressing, and a waste of time. That’s two hours of my life I’ll never get back. The only reason I gave it any stars was because Jude Law is a fine actor. 🙁
