In spite of my 2 star rating, I wouldn't tell anyone not to see this movie. It depends on one's level of science knowledge and the ability to see through plot holes big enough to fly a futuristic Osprey through. In spite of the title, the movie is about the product of this creator, not the creator itself. The visuals at times are quite stunning but for me, the storyline leaves a lot to be desired. A robot that needs to sleep, really?

Having been a fan of the body of work of our Australian actor, Toni Collette, I thought this movie may be another fine performance by Toni. How wrong I was. It's not the acting so much as the ridiculous storyline and the over the top violence. The good thing though was that I watched it in the Gold room of a new cinema and had salt and pepper calamari, chips and an ice cold beer brought to me whilst reclining in the super comfortable electronically adjustable chairs. This movie tries to be a comedy but fails miserably. One star for me.

An absolutely appalling movie that should never have been made. Who thinks that watching someone descend into mental distress at the hands of a cold and heartless family is entertaining. My one star is for the Porsche.
