It was super enjoyable, had amazing music, an intriguing storyline, a satisfying ending. Not only that, but it was thoroughly researched and referenced a ton of real historical issues. The costumes were top-notch. 200% recommend

The mockumentary format reminds me of What We Do in The Shadows and The Office. Well, not every single joke lands, but overall it's a very good comedy (which is great considering how scarce they are in Poland). The humor can be cringy and definitely has a "dad-joke" feel at times, but it's delivered so well that it becomes hilarious. There were moments that made me laugh out loud, and I watched some episodes with a grin on my face from start to finish. The acting was superb, every member of the cast delivered a great performance, especially Bartłomiej Topa (Jan Paweł) and Michał Sikorski (Jakub). I also really enjoyed the music and the costumes. It's a good show. Definitely worth recommending.

What I liked: - the story. A very cool and entertaining concept - the message. "Fight for what you believe in", "Stay true to yourself" etc etc are almost cliche now, but they were delivered in a way that felt meaningful and sincere - the characters (Hobie Brown was my favorite) and their emotional depth - the visuals!!!! Seriously when it comes to animation the movie was stunning What I disliked: - the length. In my opinion there were a lot of moments that could have been cut out and it wouldn't make a difference, and the scenes would still have the same emotional impact - flashing lights. I walked out of the cinema with a headache - the pacing. Calmer moments were too slow, and action-packed sequences were often confusing It was still a good movie overall. Could be a bit shorter though

I understand why some people decided to leave bad reviews if they stopped watching the show after a few episodes. In the beginning the pace is slow and the dialogue feels stiff. But halfway through season 1 the plot starts getting more and more interesting, and the story flows more naturally from that point. And season 2 is even better. Anyway here are things that make this show pretty good: - amazingly orchestrated fight sequences - likable and/or interesting characters - well-made and aesthetically pleasing costumes - plot twists that you can predict but aren't completely obvious - original story idea and world-building (that's why I hope there will be a continuation, because I feel there's still a lot of things to find out about this universe) I admit, some things could still be done better and the show has flaws but I enjoyed it a lot and I definitely don't consider the time I spent watching it wasted.

It deserves 5 stars just for the breathtaking visual aspects, and that's just the start. Cute and heartwarming relationship between the two leads. Genuinely funny moments. Memorable and distinctive side characters. Impressive world-building. A strong, important message. All of these things combined create a beautiful, immersive story. The only thing I have mixed feelings about is the ending, which definitely wasn't bad, but it left me with many unanswered questions. Still, that may have been caused by a time limit or something like that. Nevertheless, this movie is indubitably worth watching.

Diverse, emotional and hilarious. The acting is amazing, especially from Taika Waititi. Does everything make sense? No, but it doesn't need to. The show doesn't take itself very seriously anyway. All that matters is that it's entertaining and extremely fun to watch. Can we get a second season, please?? I am dying to know what happens next !!

One of the best shows I've ever watched - a gripping story, complex, relatable characters, amazing LGBTQ representation, healthy friendships and no unnecessary drama. I'm obsessed.
