Personally, I expected a bit more.
I beat this main game in around 12 hours and completed the rest of the side quests, Pokedex and only thing left is to blow the flute for Arceus. Total time is 34:18. Literally less than a weekend. Which from past titles I expected this, but I didn't expect the game to beat itself. Like shield and sword the game is practically you following what it tells you too with little to no resistance from the game. The illusion of the wild area has tainted the idea of roaming and for the potential of getting lost. The reason Pokemon yellow, silver, gold and a lot of the older titles were fun and enjoyable is actually having to follow clues and interact with characters to find your way. Following a glowing dot is not my idea of an "adventure".
The graphics though, I enjoy that part of the game, the smoothness of charging off a mountain to transition into flying is quite nice. The slow-motion with the fish is okay I guess too except for you can practically hold yourself in the air for minutes it would seem( untested how long exactly).
I want voices, I want to get lost in trying to accomplish the goals, I want to not be led like a child on a leash throughout the span of the game leaving no room for error.
The game itself is okay overall but I expected so much more.
