I wonder sometimes what it would take for me to agree to be a part of such a poorly written script. In a general sense, it's desperation. Though I can imagine that I wouldn't recognize it as such as it was occurring. I'd think it was going to be awesome. If you're going to make a sci-fi show, make sure your writers have at least a 120 IQ. There's no way a reasonable organization would let these people man a space mission. If you're considering watching, move on.
