An epic story full of political intrigue and scheming. I see a lot of people comparing it to A Game of Thrones and that's a fair comparison but I think Shogun stands on its own and needs no comparison. FX and the creators have exceeded all expectations and I can't recommend this enough.

I would prefer to watch the original over this one. Bad pacing and weak caricter are just some of the issues.
