Went into this with practically zero expectations tbh. I watched the sequel only once right about when it came out and didn't remember much. Anyways, this was an easy watch. Likeable characters, good storyline, and a nice sense of humour to keep the audience engaged. Found myself enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would. There may be hope for Disney after all...

Does not live up to the hype. It may have been better if the animation had not set such a high standard for the live action. The lack of songs and familiar characters makes it boring rather than new and exciting. It feels like watching just another not so exciting movie instead of the mulan we all know and love.
