A wonderful, uplifting show about life in frontier America during the late 19th century............this show has been a favorite of my families' for 35 years (I'm 48) and we still watch it daily.............. What makes it truly special to me is how with hard work and determination, these "country folk" were still able to endure and survive through anything that life threw at them...............A real sense of family values and just believing that there is more to life than tangible, material things...........love, trust and hard work are qualities that cannot be purchased, in addition to good, moral values and a willingness to keep going & trying your best.
