This is a terrible movie, how am I supposed to empathise with the main character? He’s a total jerk! They decided to do a full 180 on a male character who could’ve been nice who I was rooting for. The only nice character is treated badly and made to look a jerk by those around her. Her actions are misunderstood. Other women have been depicted badly and the humour is cringey. Maybe it was the intention to make a movie about a jerk learning the error of ways in treating a nice girl badly but if the main character is genuinely supposed to be a nice man and we are genuinely supposed to believe that the female lead is wrong in not being attracted to him then this movie is just as terrible as I think it is.
