coming from somebody whos only really played part of the first pokemon game and then some of pokemon sun (am i a bit late to this?) pros: -interesting and engaging storyline, although there are some parts that seem a bit rushed -pokemon are well designed, very likable -enjoyable characters when it comes to personality, specifically characters like hop (although he can talk way too much,) and marnie -very easy to get into, its the only pokemon game ive actually finished. cons: -the 2d versions of the characters are way better. during cutscenes i will find myself begging them to stop simply because some of the facial expressions or faces are so incredibly dumb -certain character designs are either so painfully overdone (LEON) or way too simple (rose, bede, hop, etc) the only one which i really adore is marnies -small map which doesnt really let you explore. there arent many easter eggs or things to look for when playing in the maps. its very upfront -easy game. the only battle i found difficult was raihans, mainly because i didnt have a pokemon that went well against dragon types. it took me around 20 hours to finish. do i recommend? for people who arent super into the pokemon games, definitely. for people who are, i dont know, its mostly people who know what most pokemon games are like who are critiquing this game.
