The ability this movie has to curb the elements this vast universe has, into a fulfilling, true to the bone dark versus light, galaxy saving spectacle, can truly be the called the final chapter that Star Wars deserves. The variety of stories tied together, the mixture of seemly dis pare plot lines left over and dead ends that other Star Wars movies left for the momentous task of culminating, resulted in a satisfying creation by the mind of JJ Abrams and crew. No essence of being a carbon copy, no needless nostalgia triggers, and no useless "big picture" modern day issue moments that detached fans from the previous movies in the modern trilogy. The pureness of saving the galaxy, brothers and sisters in arms, and good versus evil circled the wholesome development of the main characters ensemble. Rise of Sky-walker felt like it achieved a high rank in my books, by giving real life to the priorities of the new characters, as well as more diverse character relationships that weren't at all reflective of any that came before it. I sincerely loved the resulting product of the modern trilogy despite the ups downs and awkward/ needless noise the previous movies left off with. This movie satisfied my tensions towards Star Wars and left me with a a trilogy that delivers a wholesome edge of your seat experience full of exiting battles, massive plot development and outstanding direction of such a complex galaxy to navigate, that you left free to move onto the next beautiful creation Lucas Film has to offer.
