I like to watch films that aren't obvious. That every tick of the clock is a surprise, that knot in the stomach where you left wondering "How will the movie finish without lefting loose ends?!".
Well, this film found its way and I loved that way.
It's different, unnusual... For starter you don't have a good guy, but a lot of bad guys. Even the judge is entangled on the scheme by not following throught his decisions.
Futhermore this film is satire of the "american dream". I got the sense that some of the complaints comes exactly from Not getting it's a satire. Like some entered the ambiance thinking it was a simple comedy. Or that everything would work right in the end. A Happy ending sort of way. She would regret her actions and become a lawyer and fight against people like her. Totally out of her character.
Anyway, the end is superb. They resolved every point of conflict. Great satire, great movie and awesome actors, even the side actors are great.
