Keep the lack of water infrastructure in the public space. Without farmers Australia will be stuffed. Support them now and they will come back and give us FRESH milk, meat and fruit / vegies down the track free of all sorts of chemicals which would be imported at ridiculous prices. Suggest to" powers that be" grass cut beside the road / highway from Cairns south to border be bailed ( minus road kill) by councils and trucked to where it would be used instead of letting it rot.
