A determined injured police woman, a truck full of innocent 40 dozed off policemen, a gang running behind them to get their holded cocaine, and a man released from jail after 10 years going to meet the daughter he never saw, fighting his way to save whats right. The whole movie has been treated like a high budget hollywood style cinema. The action, the story, the actors, the acting, the plot, everything has been treated with immense care and perfection. Ajay sir has proved again that all you need is a tight plot that keeps us on the edge. The last minigun showdown scene is actually modern depiction of Shiv Ji's third eye opening, where everything is just destroyed!!! Must watch movie. Hats off to all the actors and the team👏👏

Though I am a HUGE "Bhai" ka FAN, I will still write a honest review. The film is a sequel to "Wanted" which made Salman Khan "The Bhai" of Bollywood back in the day. And in 2021, bhai came back with a bash! Overall film is a good time pass. Not only for hardcore "Bhai Fans", but also anyone can watch the film and spend some leisure time easily. The storyline is based on a Korean movie and is followed upon nicely. Camera setting is the same as the prequel. Action scenes are fantastic and executed in a great manner. VFX is also good in the film. Major drawback of the film are the songs, illogical comedy in-between the scenes and the one big pothole, Disha Patani. She is my favorite, but I feel her role was not much needed in the film. Salman Khan helps out a lot of people to get roles in his film and appear on big screens. But our "Dilwale Bhaijaan" should know that other people's bread and butter will only run when his own will be fine. Salman Khan is capable of much better roles and director. I hope one day he will realize this fact and we will get our Tiger back with a roar. Till then, you can watch the movie for some good action, emotional adrenaline and of course for "Bhai ki Body". If you have played Max Payne 3, you will relate with the movie pretty well. Although movie is different from it, but the vibes are same. Sanjay Dutt is playing a the role of Ravi, who is basically a man with nothing to lose and trying to kill himself in order to meet her dead wife in heaven. One day Alia Bhatt bangs on his door for help and after few talks and walks he agrees to help her. But after learning that her dad wants to kill her for property and the fact that he was not able to save her wife from an accident, Sanjay decides to break the hell lose and kill all those who are against her. Honestly, the eerie ambience and the bluish cold tone of the film sets perfect hill station mood. Song by KK will soothe your ears. Audi car will make you drool. For the acting part, villian daddy aint that good. Dhongi Baba looks more like a drug addict. Aditya Roy Kapoor looks young and happening but lacks screen presence. Alia Bhatt tried to potray character of a fearless girl seeking revenge and she honestly achieved that. Only flaw is that she doesnt look that serious although her acting skills are top notch, trust me. Sanjay Dutt looks old, brittle, whiskey banger but still keeps you excited and on the edge. The way he smiles when death stands in front is just so badass. His acting during the climax is just superb. Whole film revolves around Sanjay, which should be because this is the sequal, but I wished Alia and Aditya also got more screen time and acting variations. This is a one time watch movie but you will enjoy. (Way better than Dil Bechara....)

What our Society is and what we cant do about it is the message clearly depicted by this film. A middle class man who belongs to a well educated family gets a set back when his Father, an old man who gave 30 precious years for government with honesty committed suicide after being trapped in a scandal. Then daily hastles and problems force him to take a path no one choose just for the sake of revenge. And finally, he gets killed by those who he went to take down. Albert Pinto is a character who is hidden in each one of us. Layered under so many problems, tensions, hatred. We all want him to come out and make the change, but how far we can go? How far we can rebel? Just to get ended in the end?? But atleast Albert tried and failed. Getting failed is better than saying "What if...".

I first saw trailer in midst of several other films coming in the way. I was like what is this? Desert locations, heavy accents, same revenge tale and thing. Although I am huge fan of Saif Ali Khan, I didnt go to watch the movie at the theatre. After few months, on 8th February 2020, that was tomorrow, i watched the movie on amazon prime . And when the movie ended, i sat on couch thinking what has happened to our taste? What happened to our creative sides? I instantly regretted not going to watch this in cinema. This is an absolutely amazing movie. From the very beginning till it ends, you will be gripped firmly and will be fueled again and again with powerful scenes and truths. Those few plot twists and fighting sequences will blow your mind in an enjoyable way. Saif sir has polished acting skills a lot in past years. The way he acted as a Aghori, being a bounty hunter and fighting his way to salvation is just amazing. Actor choices in the film is beyond expectations. Deepak Dobariyal being a lunatic tracker, Zoya hussain being a widow, Manav Vij being the villain and others became the strongest backbone in a film ever. The 18th century atmosphere is created nicely, location choices are great, some places the dialogues went little shabby. But the one liners about God and Time will open your eyes throughout the movie. Indian cinema is known for Art and creative style films. In the storm of Dabbang 3, Kalank, Total Dhamaal and special family films like Pati Patni aur Woh, and other whacks like these, Laal kaptaan is one lit candle that is hope to other artistic and creative directors. But its sad no one goes for them, taste problem maybe :-)
