E “Winsom” Z

Thoroughly enjoyed the dark, dirty, and bloody appearance of the cast and locations. The sound provided the right atmosphere too. Evil Dead oozed with character. The end scenes had the tension that was mostly lacking in the first 70 minutes. I enjoyed the rapid shift. Perhaps too long was spent with the living and not The Evil Dead, so it felt like a prequel of horrors that will come in later movies. It was satisfying to see the characters' outting slowly turn to Hell. I did not have any hope of them surviving.
