This was a complete miss for me. The beginning was great and the lore was very interesting, but then the rest of the movie turned into a cliché cult film. The ending was trash too.

There's one scene in this movie where I felt like I had an out-of-body experience. It was that good. Like the film Roma, this movie was calm and quiet but packed with overwhelming emotions that you'll only get to internalize once the movie is over.

Disappointing. There was no character development, no interesting characters to root for, and even Mulan was a bland, over-powered main character. The eagle/witch plot addition was kind of creative but aside from that, this movie was cringey and boring. Disney succeeded in destroying my favorite animated movie.
