Well written, intentional, and brilliant acting

This show had so much potential. The first episode started robust with a consistent steampunk concept at the beginning as well as the dynamic between the intelligent inventor and mysterious, fortune teller. Unfortunately, the chemistry between the two women dwindled away within the next few episodes. Instead of digging deeper into our character's development, the show began to emphasize excessive amount of nudity that served no purpose. The lack of imagination equals "sex sells." I wish the producer would have intertwined our two strong women roles with more in depth back stories, helping us to empathize with the character and how they became the woman helping the touched, instead of filling the negative space with sex scenes that dilutes down their character. Go hard on the steampunk and strong woman please. I long for a good whimsical rush. Season 2 maybe?
