If you're looking for something to dazzle you, this movie isn't it. It's not a bad movie, it just also isn't a good one. It's impossible not to compare it to A Quiet Place, even though it's based on a pre-existent novel, and in that comparison it falls short at every turn. It's enjoyable enough, though, so fans of the genre shouldn't be completely disappointed.
