great actors but WHAT A WASTE OF TIME. i normally don't rate movies but WHEW this deserves a bad review. maybe it's because i didn't read the book? but i didn't get anything. the whole movie i was waiting for something to happen, an explanation of why the side characters are being weird or why it feels like you're in a dream but for some reason it became a musical??? and left me feeling like this exact emoji "🧍" bc WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THE MOVIE??? i really wanted to convince myself that it was a good movie and that i'm just too dumb to get what it meant but when i looked into the reviews, other people felt the same!
