I was obsessed with the old gossip girl, I basically watched it on repeat after buying it in iTunes! The new one was extremely disappointing. The plots were interesting I’ll give them that and I like the new characters too. However, the story moved WAY too quickly. The OG gossip girl introduced characters, went into their backstories, built up to the craziness. This new GG puts us in the middle of the drama without any info and we wait for these unknown characters to do something. The characters and stories are really good but it’s moving way too fast. If they had made the first season just about long lost sisters finding each other and their friendships, including backstories, all the other drama would’ve made a great second season. Watch it if you want, but it’s nothing beats the original … xoxo ❤️
