I loved the first few Madea movies and his numerous plays before the movies. My twelve year old begged me to see this. Though I was a little apprehensive, I took her anyway. Gosh, can I get a refund? Those two hours were dreadful. His jokes were corny and typical early 2000s Tyler Perry. I fell asleep towards the end. The two older women, one portrayed by a younger woman were just not funny to me. I was really hoping to like this “last” Madea movie but Ugh, I took one for the team- it was not good. Corny! My daughter liked the movie although she didn’t understand the plot or jokes too well. It was definitely a 17 + movie. I’m just sad I can’t get those two hours back.
