This is a complex ensemble series which is all about relationships and key binaries - human versus alien, biology versus artificial intelligence, love versus hate, and the nature of power, gender, race, species survival. As a Dr Who tragic this is the modern version. Its not about the special effects. The writing (plot and dialogue) is good, if not always profound (just like in real life!). Im hoping Netflix commits to more series.
