Maara - beautiful movie. It was heartwarming, picturesque, ablaze with colours and well-crafted. Of course, Madhavan as Maara was superb. He has always been one of my favourite actors and he truly brought the character Maara to life. Maara had a depth that I am unable to see in movies in recent times and it was placed in various scenes throughout the movie. The care, the thoughtfulness, the sadness, the anger and the happiness that Maara portrayed were splendid. My favourite scene was when Rani was rescued. The emotions at the staircase were amazing. Maddy managed to invoke the very essence of anger. Amazing performance! Simply put, Maara is a movie that needs to be watched with an open heart. Many a time during the course of the movie, I found myself smiling. It could have been a scene, a dialogue or a gesture. That's how the movie took me in to be a part of it. Watch the movie and have a good time. I would recommend it whole heartedly. Maara was splendid from start to finish
