I grew up on this book series, and I am rereading them as the TV series came out. The TV series cuts a lot out, changes the story line, and doesn't do justice to the character development in the books. Basically whoever decided to make this into a series read the books, took the big picture highlights and did whatever they wanted. I feel like they didn't do Perrin or Matt justice. I keep screaming that didn't happen at the TV. I was so excited and I am just deflated... The views are good, and the cities look great so I guess the money was worth something. Finished it.... everything is wrong.
