A psychological thriller, it says. But does it satisfy both the elements? Psychological. Not really. But sporadic pieces of "thrill" could be found as you read. The storyline may appear stranded at first, but it unveils itself as you leaf through it. Polly has a sleek way around everyone, including Adam, though he thought it was the other way round. Usual specimens of murder and suspense with a dollop of spicy romance, Sunburn is that thriller if you're new to this genre. I'd give it a 3.5/5. Definitely a good read, but wouldn't call it my favourite.
