This movie was really good. Somebody close to the streets definitely had something to do with this movie. Most the people saying it's bad don't understand the hood and the street life. The whole point of the movie was not being able to make it out the hood. Jakor knew he would never make it out . So he sacrificed himself so his son and baby mom's would be taken care of. This movie was deep and it's as close a interpretation of the hood as you're going to get on the big screen. It's like paid in full but west coast . This movie went over alot of people's heads . Jakor said in the beginning "people want to know why I did it , but I don't think they really do" of course factors lead to him wanting to kill Malcom. The fact he served his father coke and his people's wanted him dead. Jahkor sacrificed himself. He wasn't going to make it doing what he loved an that was rap. He did what he had to do he didn't want to end up like his dad.
