Viduthalai Review - 4.25/5
Once again, the best film delivered by Vetrimaran. This film speaks very well what other films failed to speak. It's a neutral movie which speaks about both sides of good & bad pov.
Bit sloppy in the screenplay, especially 1st half, but what it tries to deliver, it does it in an extraordinary way. Police lockup scenes are just resembling Visaaranai movie. It's also similar to Vadachennai. There were very limited scenes for the main actors. There was Anbu (Dhanush) and here is Vaathiyaar (Vijay sethupathi). But expectations of these characters have already hit very high for the second part.
I personally felt Isaignani music was not delivered 100% but it was just syncing along with a storyline, no elevation or goosebumps.
High praise of Soori's acting. Kudos to Vetrimaran for the character selection. Everyone nails their role.
Appeared in just 4-5 scenes for VJS, but he steals the show completely.
Really another milestone of Indian Cinema which can speak globally.
