If you are Russian and understand Russian I do not recommend you watch this. I liked the show but I always had to remind myself that it is made for a comedy purpose by people who do not have the best knowledge of Russia and the Russian language. For example, the statue in one of the episodes said "Peter the Great" but it was written incorrectly ("Petr Velikaya", velikaya has an ending aya which is used with feminine nouns, it supposed to be velikIY for masculine). Right now I am on episode 8 and I was shocked when at 21:17 they used "Vstavai strana ogromnaya"... It is one of the Soviet songs of the Second World War and is literally about USSR arising against fascism and Nazi Germany. Idk what was the budget of this show but you can literally fact check these little things. I know that someone who does not speak Russian or is not familiar with Russian culture/history will not know a difference, but I honestly found it irritating at times and honestly a little disrespectful.
