It only took me one day to read and finish this book. I just could not, for the life of me, put it down. The subject material is pretty sensitive, and it claims to be for 17yos and up but I'd say make it for 21yos and up (unless you're really mature for your age). I went into the book a little close minded due to the subject, but ended the book with understandment and tears. It doesn't surprise me that Lochan and Maya developed those unnatural feelings for one another seeing how they had to rely on each other as partners and never had the chance to be just brother and sister. They were more like mother and father. The tone is pretty well maintained and the pacing is pretty fast. The plot is well written, the setting is well described and the ending is really heart breaking. Its pretty clear that Lochan and maya never saw each other as brother and sister but more as an extensions of themselves..only complete when together. I'm not going to give a whole lot away but let me just say that by the end of this book, I held onto my husband a little tighter that night
