I thought it had a slow start yet was horrifying with emotional, psychological and physical torture. I thought it symbolic of real life if you entertain to "go with the flow" with something you instinctively feel is wrong. You end up getting caught in a vice and/or situation where you lose your sense of self, reason and possibly your life.
