Fiona Stark

This is a very long book, too long for a detective novel. So many characters, other irrelevant cases, and far too much distracting detail. Where was her editor??? Having said all that I did keep reading and towards the end found it hard to put down. She is a fantastic writer but if detective writing is her new genre I ink she must aim to produce twice the books at half the size. I’m a retired teacher and I loved and shared her first 4 Harry Potter books but me and my pupils were defeated by the later ones and resorted to the films.
