Wow. I knew it would be good, but every track was phenomenal and masterful! Perfect sister to folklore, but more upbeat. I actually prefer this album. It's expansive, filled with colors and flavors. Besides the production, it's lyrically genuis, unlike ahem I WONDER who. So much depty. Taylor swift has such a way with words and storytelling. Her mind is beautiful. We're so proud of you Taylor and we love you ❤️

Honestly? The vocals and production were on point. The tracks had diverse sounds. The tunes were catchy. But the problem for me was the redundancy. It just felt too sweet. It was love this, love that...etc and of course, at least it wasn't like Changes b/c the diverse tracks helped alleviate that problem. (we do not speak of changes ok?) So what I'm trying to say is, the "theme" of this album was just how infatuated he was. Ngl I'm kinda worried cuz he sounds so emotionally dependent on Camila and atp it doesn't sound healthy; sounds more like an obsession to me uh- So yeah his theme is generic and he isn't the most creative or talented lyricist, which was the main shortcoming. Just compare these lyrics to those of Taylor Swift or something and you'll see what I'm talking about Yuh yuh n e waze stan @wigsandtea✨

Through detailed description and vocabulary, the characters and plot were so well crafted! Jane's childhood hardships only strengthened her resolve to find the balance between independence and belonging. Definitely was not a conventional love story, but that made it even more intriguing. Though I took weeks to finish(520 pages), if one strives for understanding it will heighten your appreciation for classics and definitely be worth your time. Simply beautiful.
