This movie desperately needed better casting or direction for the villain. He has one facial expression, impassive. It's just not threatening, and it makes the action sequences where you can see his face fall flat.
The movie did have its moments, but overall it still needed work. There were a few lines and scenes from all the actors, including the seasoned ones that really needed a re-shoot.
