A very interesting movie. I’m going to cover the bad, then the good, then my conclusions. The bad: There is very, very little context. You don’t know why the war started, how the divisions happened, or even why they are fighting. It also has a very abrupt ending with no conclusion whatsoever. The movie didn’t say what happened after the WF captured the city. There was also very little action. You might be wondering why I gave it four stars if there are so many negatives; don’t worry, I’ll get to it. The good: The little action that WAS there was excellent and very well made. The movie is also very well paced and is overall a well designed film. Really great acting and scenes. The style of the characters taking pictures of everything happening was very interesting and unique. Very good scenes- it is very realistic and gripping with all the violence. Conclusion: If you go to watch this movie expecting an action-packed war movie, you will he disappointed. But, if you like to think about the message behind movies and generally enjoy films, you will like it. It was definitely a good film, but it is not for everyone.

This movie is terrible, both of them. They skip all of the important scenes. Percy Jackson, Annabeth, and Grover look way older than 12, and Annabeth looks nothing in the books at all. They don't reveal Percy's father in the Capture The Flag game, like it is supposed to be. Do yourself a favor and read the books. They are 100 times better. The movies are shameful.
