Twenty One Pilot's Best Album.
Despite being my favorite band, a lot of their music can be hit or miss. The self-titled album has really great tracks, but also really bad ones. Regional At Best is fairly good and nails that homemade feel. Vessel is the second best and a really enjoyable listen, but could be difficult for someone to pick up, and Blurryface is honestly kind of disappointing, with the exception of a few tracks.
But not Trench.
This album nails everything. For once with TOP, this album feels like it can appeal to almost anyone. The writing is phenomenal and the instrumentals are just as good, if not better. The best part is, it still feels like Twenty One pilots. It brings that iconic TOP feel to the table while still making itself stand out, and break away from their formula.
In my opinion, a must listen.
