Just wow(!) This show keeps surprising me. Brilliant writing and acting. I started watching it to see Kathy Bates and I'm totally hooked. Anyone who thinks this is going to be a Matlock retread will quickly find they are wrong. I predict Emmy nominations here...

Why didn't I ever hear about this film?(!) Yes, it's a slow starter, but so very, very worth it. Great characters and performances, excellent dialogue. It steadily builds to the absolutely perfect ending. A must-see especially for Opera fans...

Liked the concept -- but the Show isn't funny enough to support the constant level of conflict. The elements of conflict are also so repetitive I was quickly bored and frustrated. None of the characters is all that engaging, despite obvious efforts from the Cast. I love Reba McEntire. I hoped for something better for her. The writers are FAILING her... P.S. Interesting blend of reviews here. All five star/glowing or really bad. Not much in between. That's usually a sign that someone's trying desperately to prop up the ratings.

Very Chandleresque. Colorful characters and edgy ironic humor. Truly unexpected twists and turns, with occasional shocking violence. Wonderful writing and acting. I binge watched season 5. Can't wait for season 6.
