The fact anyone would give this movie a bad review is heartbreaking and proof they weren’t even trying to pay attention.
The story is based on a true story of a man who was horribly attacked and coping the only way his mind could allow him- unfortunately his mind gets lost in his trauma which leads to problems, which again... is absolutely normal when the mind has been so badly hurt. It’s about how he learns to overcome that fear and pain of being forever changed from the attack. This movie and story was so precious and beautiful. There’s no areas what so ever that need improvement. I personally believe, the ONLY people who don’t get this movie have either a) never had to cope with a trauma, or b) never helped someone through trauma. otherwise they’d understand EVERYTHING.
