Excellent film. The writing is really good and the acting, superb. It was interesting to see the French judicial system in action.

This is an impressive directorial debut by Maggie Gyllenhaal. Beautifully textured film, superb cast, Olivia Coleman is wonderful. There is a sense of menace throughout the film. I really liked it. Maggie Gyllenhaal is a real talent.

If Ben Mendelson is in it, it's going to be good.

Poor script, and the actor who plays Kitty is not convincing.clumsy direction.

Humour is cringe worthy in this film at times.

Loved the movie. Refreshingly unusual and imaginative. Good performances. I was immediately drawn in and did not feel it was slow. I would recommend.mend it.

Superb acting. I was totally immersed in their relationship and I cried a river. A must see.
