THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY- REVIEW CONTAINS MINOR SPOILERS:
The Umbrella Academy or TUA was released in 2019 on Netflix, the overall feel of the show reminded me of a very intense dark academic book converted into a show. The plot of the show is not only gripping but extremely unexpected which makes it so hooking to watch. Each of the characters are created in such a way, that no two characters would ever fully agree with one and other. Personally, I loved the character Five as Aidan Gallagher had to portray a 56 year old man inside a 14 year old boy's body. His constant nagging and drive to stop the end of the world (apocalypse) made him seem way more mature than anyone else. The umbrella academy is brilliantly directed and the choice of songs make in it make the show an experience to remember. The second season talks about issues such as; Racial Inequality, Non Acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community and such. The JFK assassination bit takes quite a turn as the show proceeds. In conclusion, this is a great show to watch and it takes quite an effort to understand the little details.. Waiting for season 3 eagerly!!
