Dollface pretends to be a show about women supporting women but it's obvious from season one that it only wants to support a certain type of woman. Women who love football or video games are automatically labelled as 'pick me' girls who could only be interested in their hobbies because men like them. The main character is supposedly a web designer and yet has no friends who share her interests and it's never even discussed that she may have female coworkers also in IT, rather they are portrayed as vapid, goop drones obsessed with trends. This show is extremely disappointing and I truly hated it. I honestly had to Google if it was written by a man because I felt so disconnected and put off by its portrayal of women.
