I normally enjoy campy Disney comedies of this era, but if you like The Love Bug, Absent Minded Professor, or Apple Dumpling Gang, don't waste your time here. The plot drags on for an abysmal 110min (fine for a plot heavy Marvel/StarWars/Narnia), you will be bored if not angry at the writing and characters by the end of the first act. This isn't a riffable so-bad-it's-good either, it's unpleasant in every way. And I have not read the book, but apparently it butchers the source material as well. Only for the Disney live action completionists, and even then, you have been warned.
