A very nice drama which was well-written and performed. I found it to be a drama I grew to like the more I watched it. The characters were well developed as were their stories. I expect good drama from the BBC and Ripper Street delivered.

I found series one to be a bit cliché but how could it be otherwise? A series about a modern-day Ripper has to check all the right boxes. I found it be well acted and absolutely entertaining. One is lead down several paths of whodunitry. Enjoy!

A western in the tradition of the greats of the past. Good vs Evil, the underdog vs the Bully. Redemption of past bad deeds, but the skills learned committing those deeds are once again needed, but not for selfish reasons, rather to bring justice to a place where it exists only by the gun. Kevin Costner is great, and Robert Duvall, well, is Robert Duvall.

One of the best all- time movies. It has been in the Top3 movies forever.

Another gem from Clint Eastwood. I remember the events portrayed in this movie. The premise here is how to prove one didn't do something when the media and Federal Government say you did. A good, thought-provoking movie. While there's no final courtroom drama there is a sense of the little guy getting justice despite having those two big entities arrayed against an average American citizen.

Much better than I thought it would be. It's not just a "kill everyone" kind of flick. There is more good dialog than I expected. Mike Colter, whom I really liked in the MCU as Luke Stone, was very good, as was Gerard Butler, but in a more nuanced way. Butler is still a bad a@@, but not in the way he's normally used.

Very good stories that might not sit well with life-long Angelinos. I don't know that this city has as checkered a past as is portrayed, but I can see it happening. I like the overall grittier story-telling. I like the conveyance of life in the Great Depression and how everyone had to cope.
