This movie is absolutely great for kids. I took my sister and had so much fun watching her enjoy it. Personally I thought it was a great movie. One you'll probably watch on a long drive or just on occasion when you're bored. I read many reviews before seeing the movie and I disagree with most of them. His accent didn't sound off or weird to me. If you paid proper attention you know why they were going to certain places.

My mother who loved the original couldn't watch the movie. She and I didn't like the political correctness of the movie. It didn't fit the time period. What I didn't enjoy the most was Disney trying not to offend anyone. There was no zoo. What was the reason for Jock to be a girl? It's okay to have a plot that's different from the orginal but it's so different. My favorite scenes are gone and there's no nostalgia. It also focuses too much on the people in my opinion.
