In comparison to other war movies like Saving Private Ryan, Fury, Hacksaw Ridge, Gallipoli etc I found the movie to be lame, implausible and contrived. The trench scenes bear no resemblance to b/w images of WW1- way to clean, neat and unrealistic. Acting was unconvincing at times it felt like a boy scout movie
