"Martha is Dead" easily ranks among my all-time favorites, standing tall with titles like "What Remains of Edith Finch," "Heavy Rain," and "Fran Bow"!
The graphics are simply phenomenal; every scene is an aesthetic masterpiece, rich with detail. Knowing the virtual world and setting are historically accurate—a testament to the developers' dedication—has deepened my appreciation.
Stories set during wartime, exploring the relentless, prevalent physical and mental impact on individuals or communities (literally or symbolically), always grab my attention, and "Martha is Dead" delivers. The unique, twist-filled story kept me hooked, and its tragic yet profound message lingered long after the credits rolled.
I especially loved that the protagonist reads every note, saving you the trouble.
The only caveat? Some graphic imagery and frightening scenes might be too intense for some, making it best suited for mature audiences.
