At first, his self destructiveness seems crazy and repetitive but once you sit through the entire the movie, you realise how intense their love was and how they both held on to each other emotionally inspite of all the obstacles. Actor did an amazing job as well. I personally loved it after watching the end. Not everyone is lucky to end up with their love and if you do, you really should not let ego ruin it. Good message for those who watch it with a positive outlook.
