It might have been a good movie in the original Swedish. The English dubbing was atrocious. It was not synchronized with the actors speech and it was read by people who had no clue what the story was about. They simply read the script without knowing or caring about the characters they were portraying or the situations they were in. Epic failure resulting in awful movie.
